Hello! My name is Alex and I am a second year MD student at NYU.
I was fortunate to have a great deal of success throughout the medical school admissions process, with 15 MD acceptances including 7 of US News top 10 schools, including multiple full-tuition merit scholarships. I am very excited to have the opportunity to share the many lessons and tools that I gained from my admissions journey with passionate future physicians...

I understand how stressful and overwhelming the medical school application process can be. I remember the countless hours I spend scouring the internet, reading blog posts and SDN forums. My hope is to take all of the wisdom and knowledge that I have gained throughout my time applying, as well as more recently interviewing students for my medical school and condense it down into the core principles that will make your application standout and secure an acceptance to your dream school (and hopefully alleviate some stress as well)!
Throughout my process, I learned a great deal about the importance of narrative, preparation, and prioritization in securing admissions to top medical schools. My goal is to work with every one of my mentee's to apply these principles to support and streamline their application process, lend clarity to many of the unknows in the blackbox of medical school admissions, and support them in whatever ways they most need.
I have a great deal of experience working with students on interview preparation, personal statement writing, secondary essay writing, school list assembly, and much more.
I take great pride in the success that former mentees of mine have had in medical school admissions and look forward to working with you and supporting you on this exciting journey!
Stats:
Medical School Acceptances: Harvard Medical School, Johns Hopkins School of Medicine, UPenn School of Medicine, UCSF School of Medicine, NYU School of Medicine, Yale School of Medicine, WashU School of Medicine, etc.

Alex helped me a lot in mock interviews! Even for the harder "weakness" type questions, he taught me how to present answers that are both true to myself and relatable for the interviewers. He is also such a kind and genuinely caring person-- I'd say even learning his mannerism would help, because he was likely one of the best interviewees! Overall a very nurturing mentor and coach :)

This is now the second time that I've met with Alex and I can say that he is for sure worth your time and money! From forming my school list and navigating the very first steps of applying to medical school during my first session, to brainstorming really solid personal statement ideas and discussing my activities list for the second, Alex has not disappointed. If you're looking for a confident consultant who appreciates your own ideas and has real success to back up his suggestions, I would highly recommend booking him!
