A little bit about me - I am a former competitive figure skater. I was actually fortunate enough to be a member of the junior national team where I represented Canada internationally and at 3 junior world championships. The rink has always been a great social and physical outlet during medical school and residency I would encourage anyone applying that it is certainly possible to keep doing the things you love!
Other than skating, I am an avid baker and huge foodie - another perk of being in Toronto! I am passionate about advocacy and philanthropy and have a special interest in community blood donation outreach.
I love teaching and have a breadth of experience tutoring in all areas of STEM at the high school and university levels. This enthusiasm for helping others thrive is something that I am excited to extend to the medical school application journey - one that I know can be quite intimidating and overwhelming. My goal is to help support you along every step of this marathon. I promise to give you all the tips that I used myself and share all the wisdom that was imparted on me by my mentors. I hope to leave you feeling confident and prepared, and I strive to make this stressful process a little bit more fun :)
