Hello! My name is Christian, and I am a PGY-2 psychiatry resident at the University of Arizona College of Medicine – Tucson. I earned my medical degree from the University of California, Irvine School of Medicine after completing my undergraduate education at UCLA.
Throughout medical school and residency, I have worked with aspiring medical students and residency applicants to strengthen their applications through personalized guidance, thoughtful essay editing, application strategy, and interview preparation. I understand firsthand how overwhelming and competitive the admissions process can feel, and I've personally interviewed numerous candidates for medical school admission. My goal is not to rewrite your experiences, but to help you communicate them in an authentic, compelling way that reflects who you are and what you will bring to medicine.
In addition to admissions advising, I have served as an anatomy tutor in medical school, mentored/reviewed applications for many medical students during residency, and remain actively involved in clinical research and academic teaching. My background in psychiatry has strengthened my communication skills significantly and my numerous publications in medical journals and news media demonstrate a high writing standard.
