Hey there, my name is Eric! I’m a 2nd year M.D. student (MS2) at the University of Toronto (UofT), and I want to help you navigate the journey in applying to medical schools in Canada. Over the years I've accumulated over $50,000.00 in scholarships and awards, including UBC's most prestigious award the Wesbrook Scholar designation, and UofT's most prestigious MD entrance merit-based scholarshjp, the Dr. Norman Bethune aw...

I know the process can be stressful and challenging, as on my 1st round of applications (2023) I received 0 interviews. However, the very next year I was able to improve my applications, got 4Q on the CASPER, and was fortunate enough to receive interviews and acceptances at UofT (OOP), UAlberta (OOP), UCalgary (OOP), and UBC (IP).
I particularly enjoy and specialize in tutoring UBC NAQ and UofT essays/ABS entries as well as UBC and UofT interviews. The last 2 years I have been able to help more than 10+ of my friends get into medical school so feel free to reach out and I'd be happy to share some of my tips, tricks, and help you practice for your medical school journey!

Excellent and honest feedback; would absolutely recommend for anyone trying to improve their application!! He's also a very nice guy and tries to save you money whenever he can, and really cares for the applicants he's mentoring.

It was a pleasure talking with Eric during our initial consultation. As we were discussing how I should approach the med school application process overall (including which schools to apply to), he provided insightful and very grounded advice. He's also always really looking out for you -- in terms of offering advice freely and transparently, and in trying to save you money :)

Eric was super helpful. He gave me an initial free consultation where we discussed my goals, and he shared some advice on what to focus on and how he helps people with their applications. He seems to be super knowledgeable, and I look forward to meeting with him again.

Eric was really approachable and communicative during our session. He talked openly about his experiences in applications in the past (both as an applicant and as a reviewer), outlining what he thinks is needed/vital for UBC/UofT-related applications. With his friendly demeanour and apparent willingness to help someone out with their application, I would recommend working with him!

Eric was amazing during our practice session. Very supportive and kind, but also gives very honest feedback that is specific to you. He was also very insightful in providing high-yield strategies and concepts that are applicable to almost all question types. After our session, I felt a better sense of what things to implement during my own practice and preparation.

The most thorough and helpful review I could've asked for! Eric's super friendly, and learning from his process really taught me how to better critique my own material down to the smallest detail. Strongly, strongly recommend!

Eric gave very clear comments, identifying key themes of improvement that generalized to every school's application. Our meeting was efficient, where he gave concrete examples of what a good entry/essay could look like.
