Hi, my name is Isaura!
I am a PGY-1 resident in Ophthalmology with 4+ years experience working with students. I cannot wait to help you navigate through your application process. I was once in your spot and I know how nerve-racking it can be. But, don't you worry because I will do my very best to help you gain the confidence and strength you need to get through it! At the end of the day, everyone has what it takes to achieve their goals and I am sure you do too!

I am looking forward to meeting you!
P.S: if there is one piece of advice I can give you, it would be to *cue the inspirational music* believe in yourself. I know, it is corny, but it is true! Your mindset is very powerful (take it from a previous psychology major). If you think positively, it can really set the tone for this whole journey.
Okay, I am done. See you soon!
