I’m a fourth-year medical student at Chicago Medical School, with a strong focus on helping students succeed in every stage of the application and medical school process. I offer guidance in application editing, interview preparation, CASPER, and STEP 1 and STEP 2 tutoring. My goal is to make complex material approachable while helping you build confidence and a strong medical school/residency application.
Background: I completed my undergraduate studies at the University of California, Davis, where I also served as a teaching assistant and tutor. I have always been passionate about education and mentorship, which I continued into medical school by tutoring students for STEP 1 and STEP 2 exams.
I have completed eight clinical rotations across multiple specialties and have built a strong academic foundation in subjects like immunology, all the organ systems, and biostatistics. As I prepare to begin residency in Southern California, I bring a full understanding of the medical journey from pre-med to clinical training and residency applications.
Teaching & Mentorship: I have worked closely with both undergraduate students and early medical students (MS1–MS2), helping them navigate coursework, board exams, and the medical school/residency application process. I focus on simplifying difficult concepts, building effective study strategies, and tailoring my approach to each student’s needs.
I’m especially passionate about helping you tell your story, whether through personal statements, interviews, or CASPER, because I know how important it is to stand out beyond just numbers.
Why Work With Me:
Full-spectrum guidance: From pre-med advising to STEP prep and clinical insight
Proven teaching experience: TA and tutor with a strong track record in both academics and boards
Personalized mentorship: Every student’s journey is different, and I tailor my approach to you. I will learn about your learning style and adjust my materials and advice towards you!
Supportive and approachable: I genuinely love teaching and helping students achieve their goals!
Outside of medicine, I enjoy working out, playing sports outdoors, cooking, and watching TV which help me stay balanced during my busy schedule.
2016 - 2020
During my undergraduate studies at University of California, Davis, I built a strong foundation for a career in medicine through extensive clinical exposure, service, and research. I completed over 200 hours of physician shadowing across multiple specialties, which helped me develop a deeper understanding of patient care and the healthcare system. Additionally, I contributed more than 400 hours to community service initiatives, reflecting my long-term commitment to serving diverse and underserved populations. I was also actively involved in undergraduate research, where I developed skills in critical thinking, data analysis, and scientific writing.
2022 - 2026
I am currently a medical student at Chicago Medical School, where I have completed eight clinical rotations across a wide range of specialties. Throughout my training, I have excelled academically, performing strongly in courses such as immunology, organ systems, and biostatistics. These experiences have strengthened both my clinical reasoning and ability to break down complex medical concepts that are directly applicable to tutoring for STEP exams and pre-med coursework. In addition to academics, I have taken on leadership roles including serving as Class Secretary and as Vice President of a multi-institutional medical student nonprofit and clinic. I also helped establish a pelvic health clinic within our student-run free clinic, addressing an important gap in care for underserved populations. Alongside this, I have been actively involved in research and manuscript development.
