Kaiz Esmail (he/him/his) is a medical student at Harvard Medical School with a longstanding passion for education, mentorship, and expanding access to higher education. His interests lie at the intersection of teaching, equity, and student development, and his work is grounded in a deep respect for each student’s individual journey. Having navigated competitive academic pathways himself, Kaiz brings both perspective and empathy to his advising, with a strong commitment to helping students feel supported, confident, and empowered throughout the application process.

He offers comprehensive, student-centered application support designed to help students tell their stories with clarity, authenticity, and purpose. His services span the full application journey, including application planning and strategy, personal statement and supplemental essay development, interview preparation, and ongoing coaching through key milestones and decisions.

His advising approach is shaped by years of experience in tutoring and coaching roles, including work with Matriculate, a national nonprofit dedicated to advancing college access, and Cambridge Coaching, where he supported students from diverse academic and personal backgrounds. Across these experiences, Kaiz has seen firsthand that the strongest applications are not built from templates, but from careful listening, thoughtful reflection, and a process that centers the student’s voice, values, and goals.
