Hi there! My name is Myles.
I know firsthand that the medical school application process can be a long, exhausting, and difficult journey. If I hadn't received support and insights from upper-year medical students, I wouldn't be where I am today. I am looking forward to paying that knowledge forward and helping you achieve your dream!

If I hadn't received support and insights from upper-year medical students, I wouldn't be where I am today. I am looking forward to paying that knowledge forward and helping you achieve your dream!
My Journey
My path to medical school was not a lucky, straight line. It took me three application cycles to get accepted. During my first two cycles, I didn't receive a single interview. Instead of giving up, I took the time to truly deconstruct the application system and understand exactly what admissions committees were looking for.
The work paid off: on my third cycle, I secured three interview offers, resulting in acceptances to UBC (my top choice) and McMaster, along with being waitlisted at Queen's.
What I Offer
Through trial and error, I learned how to effectively showcase my experiences, jumping from the 2nd quartile in my first year to the 4th quartile in my third year for the UBC NAQ. After spending three years mastering this format, I now help others do the same.
My experience includes:
UBC Application Strategy: I have helped 4 students improve their NAQ scores from 1st/2nd quartile to securing interviews, including a successful acceptance to the UBC Med Class of 2030.
Personal Statements & Essay Editing: I have experience helping applicants craft compelling personal statements, helping a student secure a University of Toronto interview last cycle.
Interviews: We will conduct live mock interview sessions and I will provide personalized feedback after each question. I can help you develop stories into a presentable format that can be used flexibly for many question types. I will also help develop a systematic strategy in approaching interview questions so you can feel confident for whatever question is thrown at you. Lastly, you will get exclusive access to a custom mock question bank I created specifically for this process!
Casper: I also offer Casper guidance in which I achieved 4th quartile for the two years that I did take the exam.
Whether you are applying for the first time or the third, I understand the hurdles you are facing, and I am here to help you build an application that stands out. Send me a message to set up a free consultation! I'm very happy to chat and see if I would make a good fit for you!

Myles was great because he pointed out strengths and potential hindrances clearly right out of the bat in the session. He inquires directly for the materials and other aspects of the application that he knows is necessary and marks out some concrete stats and steps indicating where to go for a successful application. Would recommend!
