I’m a Phase 1 OVC DVM student, and I’m here to help you through your DVM application journey (especially when it comes to interviews)! I graduated from the University of Guelph with a BBRM Equine Management degree and a MSc from the Population Medicine department at OVC (specializing in One Health & Epidemiology).
I applied and was accepted through the graduate cohort, and I’ve had many people I know get accepted through the undergraduate cohort, so I have a really good grasp of both. I know how important it is to clearly connect your research, experiences, and skills to the key concepts OVC seems to be looking for and together, we can translate that into strong, natural answers.
I have strong interviewing and interpersonal skills, along with a diverse background in research, clinical work, customer service, and leadership (among whole load of other things), so I’m well equipped to help you make sense of your own experiences and present them concisely and confidently. Whether you need help refining your answers, practicing delivery, or just figuring out how to talk about yourself in a way that feels authentic, I’ve got you!
I also offer a short guide with general OVC interview tips that can be purchased with a 15min Q&A period, this guide will be sent to you via the chat. *This guide is included with each 1hr+ session*
I used Accepted Together when I was preparing for my interviews and the support and guidance from my mentors made all of the difference. They made me feel prepared, confident and calm heading in. I hope to have the same impact on my students!
