Let's cut to the chase.
You've probably heard a lot of controversial information about how to prep for medical school interviews, and you're confused. I get it. Why can I help you specifically? My motto is that every life experience has a deeper meaning that can be leveraged.
You're probably confused about what I mean by that. Let me explain.
Every question in an interview is about you. Either directly or indirectly.

Every question in an interview is about you. Either directly or indirectly.
A direct question asks you directly: tell me about a time you dealt with insecurity...
An indirect question is within a greater context: What are some of best medical innovations of this decade and what are the benefits and consequences to patient care?
You might be confused as to how the indirect question relates to you. Answering the second question the STAR method is the usual answer. Personalization of the question will set you apart. We'll focus on how to answer indirect questions, but also i'll make sure you'll be set for the direct ones too.
My prep process goes more or less like this:
Last year, I coached over 45 students, with many coming back for 5+ sessions each. I prioritize emotional rawness. Immigrant? LGBTQ? BIPOC? A loss in the family? Mental health? Academic struggles? Financial troubles? Those comprise you, and the experience you gain from each one is important. I'll help you reflect on your life experiences and help you construct a powerful narrative to supplement your responses to make you stand out.

I just had my first consultation with Naz and it was quite eye opening. I wish I started working with her earlier, don't hesitate and reach out earlier than later!

Naz is by far the best tutor I've spoken to on here - she is incredibly insightful, supportive, and her tailored feedback is clear and actionable. Above all, she teaches you to think about questions in deep and meaningful ways you wouldn't have necessarily considered, and helps you find strategies to tackle difficult problems. Do yourself a favour and book a session with her!

I highly recommend Naz for interview prep, she went above and beyond for each session to help me fine-tune my answers and provided very insightful feedback! I can see she is passionate about mentoring others and wanting to help people improve. I truly learned a lot from the sessions with her!
