Hello there! I am currently a first-year medical student at the University of Toronto. I was by no means the perfect applicant from the start and it took me three tries to get that coveted acceptance letter.

Hello there! I am currently a first-year medical student at the University of Toronto. I was by no means the perfect applicant from the start and it took me three tries to get that coveted acceptance letter.
However, despite my challenges, each passing cycle taught me valuable lessons that I used to improve over time. During my first cycle, I ended up with zero interviews. I meticulously reviewed my ABS and received an interview invite to the University of Ottawa in my second cycle, only to be waitlisted and eventually rejected. I began to question whether medicine was for me, but after being treated by the most compassionate of physicians for a life-threatening illness, my motivation was reignited.
During the following application season, I tirelessly consulted mentors for feedback that helped me convey why I would make a great doctor through my essays. When I received my first interview invite of the cycle, I again turned to others for feedback and practiced daily to compensate for not being naturally gifted in interview settings. In my third cycle, I finally managed to pull everything together, receiving acceptances at the University of Toronto and the University of British Columbia with an interview at Western University.
Reflecting on my failures and successes, I believe the biggest difference lies in how you write or talk about your experiences. My GPA, MCAT, and ECs remained constant, but how I communicated through my essays, applications, and interviews improved. My goal is to ensure the lessons I learned along the way can immensely help in your journey towards a medical career.

I got into UofT med after practicing interview with Nicholas this year! Nicholas was super helpful, he gave me challenging questions and provided detailed feedback on how I can improve my answers. I was very nervous a few weeks before my interview, but I felt a lot more confident and prepared going into my interview after prepping with Nicholas. I'm so grateful for his support and I would highly recommend him!

Nicholas was incredibly helpful in editing my ABS and essays for OMSAS. His feedback was clear, thoughtful, and really helped me bring out the impact of my experiences. He knows what med schools are looking for and helped me present my story effectively. Highly recommend working with him!

Nic is an exceptional interview coach! His mock interviews and thoughtfully crafted practice questions were instrumental in helping me prepare for my medical school interviews. He’s incredibly patient and supportive, and I always felt at ease during our sessions. What really stood out was how practical and tailored his advice was—every piece of feedback was clear, actionable, and helped me make meaningful improvements. Thanks to Nic’s guidance, I felt confident and well-prepared, and I was accepted to med school as an out-of-province applicant! I’m so grateful for his support throughout this process.

Nic is literally an amazing tutor. Not only does he give great advice and asks high yield questions, he's also a very chill and humerous guy to prep with. During interview prep, there's so much stress going on and its so nice to prep with someone like Nic who can make the time enjoyable and helpful. For the money he charges, I would definitely recommend. What I also really liked about Nic is he gave me examples of what to say for questions like "whats my biggest weakness," these questions can be hard to answer cause you dont want to seem to generic and don't want to say anything redlfag. Highly recommend!!

Nicholas was extremely helpful with the insightful commentary and feedback he provided on each of my responses. After our session, I feel a lot more confident moving forward with my MMI preperation.

Nicholas has been very helpful with my interview preparation. He does mock practice with me, gives me instant and written feedback on my performance and also gives me a strategic approach to answer questions efficiently. My last session with him was very insightful. Asides the usual thorough mock practice we did, he gave me interview tips, advice and strategies of answering questions impressively. I must admit that I got a good value for my investment.
