I myself grew up in rural Ontario, Canada, as a second-generation immigrant to parents from the Middle-East and am familiar with barriers students face during the application processes in both Canada and the US.
I offer personalized support with general application strategy, interview preparation, personal statement editing, and CV review. I am very familiar with both OMSAS and AMCAS, as well as the unique considerations involved in applying across Canada, the United States, and internationally.
During my own medical school application cycle, I received acceptances from the University of Toronto in Canada, the University of Illinois Chicago and Sidney Kimmel Medical College at Thomas Jefferson University in the USA, and University College Cork and the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland. More recently, I completed the CaRMS process in Canada and interviewed with multiple Family Medicine and Internal Medicine programs before ranking University of Toronto Family Medicine as my first choice!
Throughout medical school, I served as clerkship representative for a class of approximately 270 students and remained deeply involved in student advocacy and wellness. I understand how stressful and personal these application processes can feel, and my goal is to provide thoughtful, honest, and highly individualized guidance that helps each applicant present the strongest and most authentic version of themselves.
